Northern Architects was appointed to lead the architectural and interior design for the expansion and transformation of Hale Private Clinic, a premium medical aesthetics facility set within a row of Victorian properties in South Hale, Altrincham.

Originally operating from a single unit at 46 Park Road, the clinic—then known as KP Aesthetics—had the opportunity to expand into the two adjacent retail units. Northern developed a comprehensive design strategy that supported the clinic’s growth while enhancing patient experience and aligning with the client’s new brand direction.

The expanded facility includes an additional clinical theatre, three recovery and discharge rooms, and a newly positioned reception and waiting area, all tailored to support operational efficiency and patient comfort. The redesign allowed for a seamless spatial flow between the original and new units, creating a cohesive and functional clinical environment.

In parallel with the architectural upgrades, a refined interior aesthetic inspired by Japandi design principles was implemented —a harmonious blend of Japanese minimalism and Scandinavian warmth. The interior features a palette of soft neutral tones, warm stone, and natural timber finishes, creating a calm, welcoming atmosphere for patients and visitors.

This transformation not only supported the clinic’s operational expansion but also marked the evolution of its identity. Following the completion of the works, KP Aesthetics rebranded as Hale Private Clinic, embodying a renewed focus on wellness, simplicity, and high-quality care.
